FIAT PUNTO Alternator Belt Change. Is it a easy job to replace alternator belt if so how is it done. Slacken alternator bolts and slide it either forward or back remove belt and fit new one take up slack and pinch bolts get a bar or similar to put pressure on alternator and make belt tight then tighten bolts up.

When i start the car the battery light still comes on and the steering is heavy. When i restart the car a few time the battery light goes back out and the steering returns to normal is there a fix to this problem?
